The CE252 allows access to your KVM installation through a local console,or a remote console placed up to a distance of 300m(1000') away. Both the local and remote units support

Features

Uses Cat 5e cable to connect the local and remote units (up to 300m apart)
Dual Console Operation - control your system from both the local and remote PS/2 keyboard, mouse and monitor consoles
Additional PC connection allowed for the remote unit
Pushbutton selection - sequential selection between local and auto mode
Two gain control modes provided for the sharpest video quality-adjustable or automatic
Adjustable gain control - manually adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance
Automatic Gain Control - automatically adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance
High video resolution - up to 1600 x 1200
Supports DDC2B for local monitor (display data channel for communication between graphic card and monitor)
Supports VGA, SVGA, and Multisync Monitors
Built-in 8KV ESD protection and 2KV surge protection
Local unit takes its power from the computer - external power is only required when the power from the local computer/computers in the KVM installation is insufficient
Multiplatform support: Windows 2000/XP/Vista.
